Connection help and supported devices
  1. Wear or activate the device and enable heart-rate broadcast mode when it has one.
  2. Close the wearable companion app because many devices accept only one live connection.
  3. Tap Connect wearable and wait for the first heart-rate value.

The mobile app is recommended. Chrome or Edge can provide active-tab recording as a web backup.

  • Compatible live heart-rate streams are detected automatically.
  • Enable heart-rate broadcast mode when your wearable provides it.
  • Wearables that restrict live data to a companion app require a dedicated integration.
  • Bluetooth pairing alone does not guarantee that a device shares live heart rate.

  • The iOS app saves readings through native Core Bluetooth while locked and restores active system-terminated connections, but must not be force-quit.
  • This research app does not control stimulation, diagnose conditions, or provide emergency monitoring.
